Sgt Peppers. A season working the bar.

So, we rock up, same time every night - 9pm start, get the lights on.

Sgt Peppers was a famous establishment. I'll use the word establishment loosely as it tends to lend itself to something that abides by rules. This was never the case at Sgt Peppers - San Antonio's infamous bar. The bar was run by a true legend, a friend of many and an inspiration to us all.
DC - We salute you!

DC was a former 'Club Rep' so he knew what people wanted when they came to The West End - as it was one for the faint-hearted. People usually came to The West End to either get leathered, or get laid.
Usually in that order. He created a bar that wasn't about taking money like all the other bars, it wasn't about looking good, and really, it wasn't about anything else but letting yourself go and enjoying your holiday getting as wasted as possible, and with like-minded people. This of course was influenced by a few shots but that's what all good nights involve right?

I'm going to reminisce the many memorable nights and particularly the fun and games, we Sgt Peppers bar staff got up to. You'll get an incite to what it was like getting involved with Ibiza, eventually working over in Ibiza, going out, Frisbee at the beaches, drinking shots, meeting the characters and generally abusing the plethora of pretty ladies that came in night after night.

It all starts somewhere and I'm sure my writing may get some in trouble, offend a few and raise an eye-brow or two but just remember, we all have fun whilst working abroad.
I hope you enjoy this blog - whilst my memory serves me still, I'll try and capture the highs and lows of being a barman in Sgt Peppers 2004.
